MEETING SYNOPSIS
This course will focus on the advances in diagnosis and surgical management of a wide spectrum of pediatric retinal diseases. It will
feature interactive panel discussions, with debate about different surgical approaches to these pathologies and management of
complications. Common and challenging cases will be presented with preoperative diagnostic imaging and intraoperative videos.
OVERVIEW
The course is designed to showcase cutting edge pediatric vitreoretinal surgical techniques, therapeutic pharmacologic treatment strategies for the pediatric vitreoretinal surgeon, and utilization of advances ophthalmic imaging to improve pediatric patient outcomes. A variety of information will be presented to stimulate the exchange of ideas. Audience participation will be encouraged, and extensive discussion periods will be provided.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

Define different manifestations of common pediatric retinal conditions

Evaluate new therapies and technologies for use in clinical practice

Members of the Pediatric Retina Association are devoted to improving the care of children with retinal diseases. The core of our efforts is to improve the diagnosis and management of infants and children with retinal problems. Since our founding in 2021, we have been determined to make an impact through our courses for Pediatric Retina Specialists worldwide.
